A Demo a Day: End Act One.

Congratulations, theatergoer! You’re halfway through.

At this point in the story, we have established the plot and met our dramatis personae. Humankind is in trouble— beset by natural disasters, plagues and war. Civil unrest threatens the foundations of civilization. Our protagonists, Thomas and Maggie, are getting to know each other and trying to keep the faith during challenging times. In the midst of the turmoil, a savior arrives promising a better day. How’s that going to turn out?

We will return to our regularly scheduled daily demos tomorrow, with a rollicking, uplifting number to open Act Two: Peace on Earth.
